Bulk Email

Definition

A bulk email is an email that is sent to a large group of recipients at once. Bulk emails are usually used in marketing campaigns to promote a business or product. Unlike spam, bulk emails are sent to people who have signed up to receive marketing messages from a company.

How does bulk email work?

Bulk email is when an emails service provider allows you to send mass email to a large group of contacts at once. You can send a single message to as many contact emails as you are willing to pay for. These can/should be personalized, but often are not.

How do you start a bulk email?

  • Send only to contacts that expect to hear from you.
  • Send only emails those contacts will truly want.
  • Segment your email based on contact information.
  • Personalize your emails based on the specific segment.
  • Write a subject line that elicits curiosite and will be opened.

What is bulk mail in Gmail?
